We Are All About gr8 People

gr8 People was founded in 2009 as a result of a simple observation: talent professionals have altered the way they manage talent pipelines, promote employment brands, ensure positive candidate experiences, and hire the best talent. But as recruiting organizations have moved forward in their approach, unfortunately many recruiting platforms have not. This mismatch led Jayne Kettles and Diane Smith to create the vision for the One-Experience Talent Platform to Recruit gr8. Worldwide. A single version of gr8 People across all customers where talent professionals could bring sourcing, marketing, collaboration, hiring and on-boarding strategies to life while delivering candidate experiences that are simple, accommodating, and personalized. gr8 People is, after all, on a mission to offer the unfair advantage in how the world recruits talent.

Let's Take A Step Back

Many of the team and founders of gr8 People come from a background of tremendous success. Before gr8 People, they worked for and founded the software company VirtualEdge (VE). The team at VE was known for their knowledge and passion of Talent Management Software. They created a product suite that was world-class, and most importantly, created real partnerships with customers around the world. Within a few years, VirtualEdge found a great home with Automatic Data Processing Inc. (NASDAQ:ADP).

Where We Hang Out

Our office is located in an old industrial building from the 1900’s, first a china factory, then a bank, and now a cool software company that respects its past. Our kitchen is stocked with coffee, our vault with cookies and post-work libations. We’re in Newtown, Pennsylvania, a town Yahoo! Travel ranked as seventh in their annual 10 Coolest Small Towns in America. Newtown was founded by William Penn in 1683, so lots of history and hip locations to enhance our innovation, offer a fresh, inspiring backdrop to share ideas, and inspire us to build our One-Experience Talent Platform to Recruit gr8. Worldwide.
